BOATING SEASON:
Please be advised that boating seasons starts May 1st thru October 31st. During “Boating Season” boats on side yards or side driveways, shall be presumed to be “in transit” from, or to, backyard storage, and from, or to, recreational use, and will not be deemed to be in violation. However, Boats parked or stored in driveways (except on sides of houses), in front yards, on common areas, or on streets, at any time of the year, constitute a violation, subject to fines & other enforcement measures, pursuant to Ref. # 2.12 of the KCCA Violations Fine Table, and if that violation condition is not corrected by deadline of an issued Correction Notice, constitutes an additional violation, subject to additional fines & enforcement measures, pursuant to Ref. #2.13 of that same Fine Table.
WATERFRONT CLEANUP COMMITTEE:
Want to still be a part of the KC Clean-Up Committee for our waterfront area? We are always recruiting volunteers to help in our continual cleanup efforts.
TRASH SCHEDULE :
When your trash collection day fall on a holiday, your trash will be picked up on the following day. For instance, if a holiday falls on a Monday, pick up will occur on Tuesday, etc. For questions regarding your trash service, please call the Elkton Department of Public Works.
KCCA FINES AND RULES SUMMARY:
All of our Rules have been restated in an easy-to-reference and plain-language Summary Document, that will be distributed to every Member in Kensington Courts. With this improved public understanding, it is expected that it will be much easier for everyone to ensure their own compliance in relatively short order.
It will also help to ensure a maximized fairness and consistency in how the Covenants Compliance Committee addresses issues when they arise. The Covenants Committee will be enforcing fines for property violations according to our fine table.
Under Maryland law before these “Rules” can be fully enforced (not talking about Covenants, but the ‘Implementing Rules’), they have to be filed within the HOA Depository, which is maintained by the Clerks Office within the Circuit Court of each county. Our rules are on file within that Depository and so are fully enforceable in court (as written).
